Las Vegas Raiders minority owner Tom Brady is continuing his hunt to revamp his team’s coaching staff. Following a disappointing 3-14 campaign, they fired Pete Carroll after just one season. On Monday, Klint Kubiak was announced as his replacement after winning Super Bowl LX with the Seattle Seahawks.
Now, according to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, the Raiders are looking to also bring in Seahawks wide receivers coach Frisman Jackson to take over as the offensive coordinator and reunite him with Kubiak.
Thanks for the submission!
“The Raiders are interviewing Seahawks WR coach Frisman Jackson for their offensive coordinator job, per source.”

Jackson played as a wide receiver in the NFL from 2002 to 2007. In 2008, he began his coaching career at the collegiate level with the Western Illinois Leatherbacks as their WR coach. He then went on to have stints with Akron, Northern Illinois, NC State and Temple.
In 2017, the Tennessee Titans hired Frisman Jackson as the wide receivers coach. He then spent two seasons each with Baylor, the Carolina Panthers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. In 2024, he joined the Seahawks as a part of Mike Macdonald’s coaching staff.
This season, under Jackson’s guidance, Jaxson Smith-Njigba was named the best wide receiver of 2025. He recorded 1,793 yards and 10 TDs receiving, helping the team win its first Super Bowl since the 2013 season.
After being announced as the new coach of the Raiders, Klint Kubiak revealed that one of the reasons why he took this job was to work alongside seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady.
“Really excited to work alongside Tom,” Kubiak said during his introductory press conference. “He made the mistake of giving me his cellphone number, so he might wish he never did because I’m going to be calling him a lot. What I’m excited about is that we really have different offensive backgrounds – how can we pull ideas from each other. But obviously, he’s the greatest that’s ever done it.”

Tom Brady shares his thoughts on Fernando Mendoza as the Raiders eye Indiana quarterback with first overall pick
Another department that the Raiders would love to improve upon is the quarterbacks’ room. Geno Smith has an underwhelming campaign, recording 3,025 yards and 19 TDs passing with 17 interceptions.
Indiana Hoosiers quarterback and 2025 Heisman winner Fernando Mendoza is projected as the No.1 pick in this year’s draft. He is linked with the Raiders as they hold the first overall pick. Last Tuesday, Brady shared his honest thoughts about the quarterback.
“What do I really value? When I see him and he talks about his teammates,” Brady said on the ‘Let’s Go’ podcast. “When he wins the Heisman Trophy and he’s praising everybody else. That’s an endearing quality for a great leader.
Apart from winning the Heisman, Mendoza also led the Hoosiers to its first national championship in program history.
